こんにちは、みんあさん!Happy Halloween! I know I have not been writing proper blogs lately. I am enjoying making video blogs at the moment but since it has been raining in Tokyo for… like… FOREVER! I decided to use up this bottled up energy to write a blog.
KBeerJournal is something I came up with when my husband and I visited Schmatz in Kanda.
This restaurant was just opened last January 2017 but they also have a branch at Akasaka.
My friend tagged us on a video featuring this place on Facebook and on that same day we decided to eat dinner there.
I have to say, I wasn’t really excited about this place compared to my husband who’s a “beer buster”. However, their food was A-MA-ZING, that I ended up having a stomachache for eating too much.
I did not regret though, I must say I’m pretty happy to find a restaurant that we both can enjoy.
This is what I ordered that night for our dinner, I tried both their Oktoberfest cocktails and I love them both. The crackers they serve with the Charcuterie board was my favorite. The schnitzel parmigiana satisfied my cheese addiction and for dessert, I got the vanilla ice cream with pretzels and black beer syrup.
My husband had their Oktobeer and their beer tasting for three. He chose the black beer which has coffee and chocolate flavor and the other two below.
I also saw an alcohol free beer on their menu.
This Schmatz location we tried was in Kanda and it’s about a 2-minute walk from Kanda station north exit.
We consider this place a little bit pricey but we thought it’s worth it. In fact, we just had our dinner there to celebrate because I finally got a job! This time I tried their Karaage with tartar sauce.
